UK Film Reviews Of Blockbusters
The United Kingdom is one of the leading countries in movie making, perhaps preceded by the well known Hollywood movie making industry of the Unites States of America. UK movies have gained fame for their huge success in the movie industry, with the movies constantly gaining the appreciation of the audience right from the old 'Adventures of Alice in Wonderland' to the latest 'Bend it like Beckham'. They have won various laurels through the years too. So it is not a surprise to see that UK film reviews of movies are many in number and good in their content. Let us see a few of the movie reviews of UK movies.
Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer:
This is another movie of the fantastic four series, featuring Loan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis. These four characters make up the fantastic four, namely Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible girl, the Human torch and the Thing. The villain in the movie is a character called the silver surfer, a silvery nude figure on a surfing board. The silver surfer wreaks havoc wherever he goes, causing trouble in London and Japan, when the fantastic four decide to put an end to his evil deeds. The movie depicts the struggle between the two sides as they battle it out to outwit each other.
Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix: The sequel to the movie, "Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire", this movie takes on from where the previous movie left, with Harry Potter trying to relieve himself of the ennui of the summer holidays, being forced to stay at his uncle's house, which he can hardly call home, owing to the treatment poor Harry Potter received there. Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts is marked by strange happenings, where he feels that he is sharing his mind with Lord Voldemort (the villain). As the movie goes on, Harry struggles to find out the reason behind Voldemort's desire to kill him, but in vain. At the end of the movie, he goes to the Ministry of Magic, intending to rescue his godfather, who he had dreamt was a captive in the hands of Voldemort. There, he discovers a prophecy relating him to Voldemort, but before he can listen to its contents, it is accidentally broken. Meanwhile, Lord Voldemort appears at the Ministry. Harry and his friends are saved by the timely arrival of some Aurors and Harry's Godfather, who unfortunately, is killed in a duel. The movie hence ends on a sad note, the only consolation being that Harry gets to know of the contents of the prophecy from his headmaster Dumbledore. The movies listed above are two of the very best English movies, one of them already released and one of them, ready for release. Rumors are that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix would surpass its prequel, while Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer has already been a huge hit at the box office.
